Picture
WHAT IS THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM?
The Respiratory System is there to help you breathe. It involves organs which help you to respire basically. These organs are: trachea, bronchi, lungs and diaphragm. With this it will bring oxygen into your body to pass on to all the cells, and it will excrete the carbon dioxide which is not needed.

EFFECTS?
The effects on this could be serious as it controls how your body takes in the oxygen and lets out the carbon dioxide to breathe. With having Parkinson's Disease it could bring in higher possibilities of other diseases relating to the Respiratory System. There would be unusual happenings with parts of the system, there could be trouble with the pulmonary function, could develop sleep disorders, difficulty breathing and losing the strength of your respiratory muscles.  Another huge part that plays in this is speech disorder. With parts of the brain shutting down, the part of the brain which controls and sends signals for speech could go wrong. This will change the tone of your voice, the pitch and just articulation of how you talk in general. There is a likeliness that you could lose rhythm in speech, you will lose characteristics. Having this condition the person could deal with psychological issues such as depression and feel like they're "losing who they are". However, there are ways to treat cases like these, there are so many places and ways to get into speech therapy and medication as well.
